Parliament declared Veliko Tarnovo https://hata.ug/kampala/42-condos the spiritual capital of Bulgaria

Veliko Tarnovo unanimously, having received 99 votes of deputies, declared the city the historical and spiritual capital of the country, BNR reports. The proposal was submitted by the initiative committee representing https://hata.ug/kampala/42-condos the municipality of Veliko Tarnovo and supported by the decision of the city council of March 28, 2019.

The motifs indicate that the city is key not only to Bulgarian and European history, but also to Bulgarian identity. Deputy from the United Patriot Milen Mikhov defined the importance of the old capital as the beginning of a thousand-year-old state tradition and the beginning of constitutionalism in our country.

Mikhov proposed to revive the old Bulgarian tradition, and each new Bulgarian parliament, setting out on its journey, took an oath in Veliko Tarnovo.
